People who are cut off from others tend to develop poor coping skills. These skills almost always lead to poorer health. Instead of isolation, plan events and activities with the people you love the most. This will improve your social health by allowing you to feel like you belong and have a sense of connectedness. Online relationships are fine but lack the immediacy and realness of face-to-face interaction. Healthy people can be outgoing when needed to make a new friend.
